Our Story
Sky Vista Wellness was born from love, loss, and a lifetime of lessons learned the hard way. For years, I was the primary caregiver for my wife as she fought cancer, and later for my mother — a lung cancer survivor who also lost a leg below the knee in 1990. My mother spent decades managing mobility challenges and phantom pain, and later faced emphysema, which brought difficulty breathing and panic attacks, along with a complex medication routine she managed remarkably well. She passed in 2023, but was able to stay in the home she loved until the end, thanks to the right tools and her own remarkable will. Along the way, I discovered which products truly help, and which don't. I bring 45 years of engineering and project management experience, including 13 years as a Healthcare Project Management Professional, to how I source and vet every item. But I also learned something less clinical: that laughter heals. My wife used humor daily throughout her illness, and it changed how she lived — and how she fought. Today, as a professional Santa Claus and stand-up comedian who delivers a keynote called "Dare to Laugh," I try to bring both practical help and genuine joy to everyone Sky Vista Wellness serves — because healing deserves both.

Born from years spent caring for a wife through her fight with cancer, and a mother who survived lung cancer only to face decades of mobility challenges, phantom pain, and ultimately the breathing difficulties, panic attacks, and complex medication management that came with emphysema — and shaped by 45 years of engineering and project management experience, including 13 years as a Healthcare Project Management Professional — we bring heart, humor, and rigor to everything we offer.
